- Abstrak :
Compensation is a management strategy used in institutions to increase employee job satisfaction. Performance itself is defined as the result of work, both in terms of quality and quantity, carried out in carrying out tasks in accordance with their responsibilities efficiently. The aim of this research is to assess the extent to which compensa tion influences employee performance at the Jakarta National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas). The research objects included a total of 60 employees who worked at the institution. Based on the Partial T Test, namely the t calculated value for the compensation variable (X) = variable < 0.1 and tcount is 2.950 > ttable is 1.68385. Thus, compensation has a significant and partially positive impact on employee performance (Y), so the hypothesis is accepted. Utilizing the Coefficient of Determination (R2), the research demonstrated that compensation exerts a substantial influence on employee performance within the Jakarta National Search and Rescue Agency. The R Square value obtained was 0.897, indicating that approximately 89.70% of performance variability can be attrib uted to compensation, with the remaining 10.30% influenced by unobserved factors.
